From the very beginning, this innovative system has you playing a huge variety of music including composing, improvising, arranging, playing accompaniment, classical, blues and jazz, understanding and reading music, all done through the lens of Simply Music’s unique, ‘playing-based’ approach.
Founded by Australian Educator Neil Moore, Simply Music is the largest playing-based music education institution in the world.
You are invited to register for a free, ONLINE, no-obligation introduction to Simply Music, the revolutionary Australian-developed piano and keyboard program that offers a breakthrough in music education.
Simply Music has students of all ages playing great-sounding contemporary, classical, blues and accompaniment pieces, as well as improvisations and original compositions - immediately - from their very first lessons!
Learn and experience for yourself:
- how beginning students play real songs, with both hands, in their very first lessons;
- the unique approach that has students playing 40-50 pieces within twelve months of starting.
At the Free Information Session, you will:
- learn about the results we obtain and how we obtain them,
- take part in a demonstration in which you will learn a piece of music,
- and hear about:
- lesson structure,
- curriculum,
- fees,
- and scheduling.
Simply Music is designed for the learning and playing success of all students, regardless of age, abilities, and musical background.
Do you know of someone who dreams of playing the piano? Feel free to invite your friends!
There will be an opportunity to enroll in weekly lessons at the event (though there is no obligation). If the prospective student is a child, it is requested that both parents or guardians attend if possible.
Free Information Sessions include both child-centered and adult-focused time. Quiet activities will be available for children during the adult-focused time, and parents are also invited to bring their child's favorite quiet activities for use during adult-focused time.
If your plans change and you are no longer able to make the Free Information Session, please call (310) 351-3389 or email [email protected] at least 24 hours before the event to cancel your reservation. We would be happy to reschedule you for the next session!
In spite of a high level of piano experience, playing seriously since the age of eight, and moving on to working as an accompanist for soloists, choirs, and musicals, I was painfully aware of the fact that I didn't actually understand what I was playing. I could read and play quite competently, but without the written instruction I was totally stymied. . . . I had all but stopped playing by the time Simply Music entered my life. . . . As I write this, tears of gratitude well up at the thought of what this program has given me [and] how it has transformed my musical experience.
